UCP4SUCCESS Scholarships
The UCP4SUCCESS Scholarships aim to encourage self-sufficiency and reward student effort by awarding merit scholarships to students enrolled in the 1st year for the first time who show the greatest academic progress, i.e. who show, at each application stage, the greatest increase in their course average compared to their application grade for entry to the course in which they are enrolled at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
FAQs
Students enrolled in the 1st year for the first time, under the general access regime;
Have passed a minimum of 30 ECTS relating to the curricular units of the 1st semester of 2025/2026, without having taken appeal and/or improvement exams.
- Merit (70%): differential between the UCP entrance grade and the final average for the 1st semester of 2025/2026. Differentials are calculated on the basis of standardised grades in relation to the course average (calculated by the Quality System Team (SQ) at Universidade Católica Portuguesa).
- Socio-economic status (30%): Analysed by Católica's Social Action offices.
In order for the aforementioned review to be conducted, students who have applied for scholarships from the Direção-Geral do Ensino Superior (DGES) must authorize access to the documents submitted for that purpose; in all other cases, they must submit the documents specified in the regulations and on the application form.
Each UCP4SUCCESS scholarship has a maximum value of €2,245.
Application period:
- until 27 april 2026 (relating to academic results obtained in the 1st semester of 2025/2026).
