Human Rights European Court: 2011-2020 (archive)
The confidential archive of the European Court of Human Rights (2011-2020) encompasses 32 boxes with dossiers related to the processes and documentation of the Plenary Assembly, the Court's Bureau, the Sections, the Chambers, the Grand Chamber, the Committees, and the Working Groups of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), as well as other relevant elements.
Access to the archive is primarily intended for students, faculty, and researchers affiliated with national and international Higher Education Institutions, but it may also be consulted by judges, prosecutors, and lawyers conducting ECHR-related investigations.

Access to the archive requires:
a) Booking request to biblioteca.lisboa@ucp.pt;
b) Expression of interest and consultation purpose;
c) Completion of a document in which the user agrees to abide by the consultation conditions set forth in this agreement.
Access conditions:
a) The reproduction of elements of the archive by any means is not allowed;
b) Access will be carried out in a reserved works consultation room, in which the user can only enter with paper and pen;
c) A library technician may be present in the reserved works consultation room;
d) Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Biblioteca Universitária João Paulo II cannot be held responsible for any improper use resulting from the archive consultation.
If the archive consultation is cited as a source of information, the following credit should be given, regardless of the type of publication: “Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Biblioteca Universitária João Paulo II /Arquivo confidencial do Tribunal Europeu dos Direitos Humanos (2011-2020)”.
