Católica offers short-term Portuguese language courses for foreigners. You can get more information from your Center's International Relations office.

Lisbon

The Faculty of Human Sciences provides semester-length courses in Portuguese for international students attending the Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon.

These courses offered in both semesters, run in 1.5-hour classes, two times per week.

The single program tuition fee costs €360. FCH exchange students are exempt from this fee.

Levels: Portuguese for Beginners, Intermediate Portuguese and Advanced Portuguese.

Porto

The Regional Centre of Porto offer includes two courses of Portuguese for foreigners: Portuguese as a Foreign Language and Introduction to Portuguese Culture and Language Course.

The first aims to give a basic knowledge of the Portuguese language, while the second, coordinated by Dr. Helena Gil da Costa, provides a cultural component.
