International Call: Project Manager

The President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Prof. Dr. Isabel Capeloa Gil, hereby announces the opening of an international call for applications for one vacancy of Project Manager to perform duties of project management and pre-award support (with an exclusivity clause), in the scientific field of Natural Sciences. The research activities will be carried out at the Research and Innovation Office of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto, within the framework of the European project LETSGROW - Bridging Academia and Industry for Sustainable Agri-Food Solutions.

This project, which will run until the 31st of May 2029, has as its main objective to promote interoperable research and innovation careers that bridge academic and non-academic sectors. To support this, LETSGROW is based on three pillars: training, mobility of talents and policy development.

The Project Manager recruited for this position will:

• Undertake project management duties, including preparation and submission of project deliverables and reports, as well as engage with the project coordination and consortium partners of the project.
• Support the development of training plans and plans for staff mobility and monitor its implementation.
• Organise and contribute to the organization of project meetings, training sessions and one summer school.
• Promote the implementation activities at UCP in alignment with the project’s objectives, including supporting applications to new proposals.
