Fraudulent communication targeting students at Católica

Universidade Católica Portuguesa has become aware that some students have recently received an email message that appears to have been sent by the University. We inform you that this email was not sent by Universidade Católica Portuguesa and is a fraudulent communication (phishing).

Universidade Católica Portuguesa continues to monitor the situation and to take the necessary measures to ensure the security of its academic community. In this context, we recommend the following:

• Delete the email immediately;
• Do not click on any links contained in the message;
• Do not provide personal data, login credentials, or banking information.

We remind you that Universidade Católica Portuguesa does not send invoices for payment to students by email.
