"The University as an epicentre of social responsibility"

The Porto Regional Centre of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa hosts the International Conference "The University as an epicentre of social responsibility: commitment to people and the planet", between 19 and 21 June 2023.

The event aims to build an innovative and enthusiastic international scientific forum to promote knowledge and discussion among academic staff, teachers and students, focused on the direct transfer of knowledge and innovation, from academia to society regarding the well-being of people and the planet.

The scientific programme includes symposia and participatory/interactive workshops to raise awareness, stimulate communication, and enhance collective intelligence, covering topics such as innovative pedagogical practices, citizen science, food and environmental transition, arts as a pathway for social change, among others. All participants are invited to contribute by submitting abstracts. Invited talks and oral and short communications selected from the submitted abstracts, as well as recreational, sharing and networking moments.
