Summer school "Habitar o caminho – espiritualidade e cultura"

Between 8 and 29 June 2026, the Instituto Religare of the Faculty of Theology is organising the “Habitar o Caminho” Summer School.

Spanning four sessions, this Summer School offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the meaning of the journey and the pilgrimage. Taking the Way of St James as one of its points of reference, the programme examines pilgrimage as a historical means of shaping religious traditions and as a practice that continues to evoke spiritual, cultural and social significance in the present day.

This Summer School therefore invites us to reflect on ways of ‘inhabiting the path’ as a cultural and spiritual act, in which movement through the landscape is intertwined with processes of seeking, transformation and spiritual development.

The registration period runs until 31 May.
