The UCP4SUCCESS project is organising the International Conference Tutoring4Success: Building the Future and Student Development, to be held on June 3 at the Porto campus of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

This conference aims to foster discussion on tutoring models and practices in education, integrating theory and practice. The event will bring together researchers, academics, higher education leaders, educators, and students to reflect on the role of tutoring in academic performance and student success. It will facilitate collaboration among educators to develop innovative strategies and create a space dedicated to student-centred teaching, encouraging the sharing of experiences and serving as a platform to promote student success.

The conference will showcase international tutoring models, featuring guest experts Marina Herbaut, from the Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers – Toulouse (France), and Ewa Domagała-Zysk, from the Institute of Pedagogy, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland), as well as national models presented by: Carla Amaral, from the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD); Gonçalo Moura, from the Instituto Superior Técnico; and Tânia Fonseca, from the University of Aveiro (UA).

Participation in the conference — whether attending or presenting a paper — is free and open to all.
