Generative Art Seminar

The School of Arts of the Porto Regional Center of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa organises the Generative Art Seminar, which will take place at the Serralves Foundation on the 26th May at 17h00.

The Generative Art Seminar is a space to discuss questions such as: But what exactly is generative art? How does it articulate with NFTs? What does this trend mean for the art market? Will there be a mass adoption of NFTs by the market, museums and curators or, on the contrary, will they suffer a rejection in the long run? 

The event features a panel of experts on generative art and NFTs that includes artists, scientists, curators, auctioneers and collectors.

Admission is free provided you collect your ticket at the Serralves Foundation.

On 25 May, EA students will also have the opportunity to take part in a workshop on these themes with Canadian artist and creative developer Matt DesLauriers.
