European Walk 2026

The European Documentation Centres in Lisbon, including the Centre at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, are organising the first European Walk, an initiative inviting the academic community and the general public to take part in a morning of socialising, sharing and celebrating European values.

With a route of around 8 kilometers along the Viewpoints Circuit, the European Walk 2026 aims to bring together the academic community and the public for a morning of socializing, sharing, and celebrating European values in an informal, outdoor setting. 

In addition to being a pet-friendly initiative, the walk will also include a charitable component, inviting all participants to donate non-perishable food items, baby hygiene products, and pet food or other animal products, which will later be delivered to social and animal support institutions.
