Alcohol consumption is not always harmless, and there are consequences that are rarely discussed.
As part of promoting mental health and literacy around addictive behaviors, the Student Association of the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in partnership with UCP2 Mental Health and Unit for the Integral Development of the Person, is organizing the talk “Between Drinks and Consequences: What No One Tells You”.
This initiative will take place on April 29, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Porto campus.
The session will feature real-life testimonies from the Alcoólicos Anónimos de Cristo Rei group, as well as the presence of a professional from ICAD, offering an integrated approach — both experiential and technical-scientific — to the impact of alcohol consumption on psychological health, relationships, and daily life.
