ASCOLA 2022 | 17th Annual Conference

The Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) holds its 17th annual conference at the Porto Regional Centre, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, from 30 June to 2 July, 2022, under the theme "Competition and Innovation in Digital Markets".

The event, hosted by Católica, features speaker Diane P. Wood, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, who will make a presentation entitled "Divergent Paths for Global Competition Law: Top Down or Bottom Up?".

Two awards will be presented during the conference: the Best Junior Paper Award, for the best paper written by authors under the age of 35; and the Award for Distinguished Services to ASCOLA, given to one or more ASCOLA members for their contribution to the association.
