1st Edition PSuperior Talks - Communication in the Age of Algorithms: Do You Decide or Do They Decide for Us?

On January 12, 2021, between 11h00 and 13h00, the 1st edition of the PSuperior Talks of Público newspaper in partnership with Mediabrands and Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) will take place.

This first talk, which takes place on the Zoom platform, with the theme "Communication in the age of algorithms: Do you decide or do they decide for us?", will feature the opening of the UCP Rector, Isabel Capeloa Gil, and the interventions of João Nunes, CEO of Mediabrands, Rui Barros, data journalist for Público and moderation of Público's technology editor, João Pedro Pereira.

To close the panel, Prof. Pedro Garcia Marques, Professor at UCP Law School and Dr. Marta Sitú, student of the 2nd year of the Master in Communication Sciences at UCP, will join the debate.

The event is open to the public, with free participation.
