The CApS Project - Universidade Católica and Service-Learning: Innovation and Social Responsibility - led by the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP) and the Unit for the Integral Development of the Person (UDIP), aims to institutionalise and consolidate the ApS methodology in specific, transversal and extracurricular curricular areas within the UCP and create guidelines for other HEIs that want to follow suit.

It is the first national project to involve the university's four campi (Headquarters - Lisbon, Braga, Porto and Viseu), boosting internal cohesion and a common focus on innovative and distinctive teaching by contributing to the training of students committed to the future and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sensitive to the problems of the most vulnerable and capable of leading change.
