CORBEL - Project 2277 “Molecular insights into Autism Spectrum Disorder”
This project enabled SalivaTec to increase its skills by using the European infrastructure consortium CORBEL. Through this project, the transcriptomic analysis of saliva from children and young adults with ASD will be done in the Biobank of the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens and the results integrated with clinical data by the Bioinformatics group of the Max-Delbruck Center for Molecular Medicine.
SalivaTec has also partnered with the Município de Viseu for the characterization of the oral health of the participants in the Atividade Sénior program. The evaluation of the oral health indicators for this population has been assessed since 2016, and specific strategies designed for Oral Health Promotion continue to be designed.
