Universidade Católica Portuguesa and FLAD renew protocol of SiPN programme
The Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Fundação Luso Americana para o Desenvolvimento (FLAD) have signed the renewal of the protocol for the Study in Portugal Network Programme, a programme of the Foundation that promotes the exchange of American students in Portuguese universities. The Faculdade de Ciências Humanas (FCH) is one of the Portuguese universities that integrate this network.
“It is fundamental for Portugal, but also for the USA, to be able to maintain a communication that is made around Science, Education and Culture. SiPN has been a privileged instrument that FLAD has developed with the partnership of Católica, ISCTE, the University of Lisbon and Nova. It has been 5 years of success that I hope it will be for 10 more, with a platform of greater reach in attracting students and maintaining this dialogue across the Atlantic.” – Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
The renewed protocol was signed last Wednesday by FLAD's Executive Board, represented by Rita Faden, President, Elsa Henriques and James Kelly, Administrators, and by the Rectors of the partner universities, at an event held at the Foundation's headquarters in Lisbon.
