UCP signs Anti-Corruption Letter - UN Global Compact

UCP signed today, December 9, 2019, the anti-corruption letter of the UN Global Compact, committing itself, together with other companies, to fighting corruption by strengthening its policies, laws and internal mechanisms encouraging anti-corruption, including extortion and bribery.

Thus, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, the only Portuguese university to sign, became an integral member of the 66 Portuguese ogranizations that subscribed to this call-to-action and received the Anti-corruption seal.

The fight against corruption is one of the highest priorities of the UN 2030 Agenda and is expressly identified in SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Happy Institutions.

The 10th Principle of the UN Global Compact – made available and adopted by several companies since 2004 – proposes the practice of a transparent, sustainable and true business experience.

The anti-corruption letter is open for public signature until today, International Day Against Corruption.
