UCP Libraries promote training cycle "Evidence synthesis in the Health Sciences: resources and tools"
Universidade Católica Portuguesa Libraries will hold a training cycle, comprising four initiatives, which will cover various topics related to the development of evidence synthesis in Health Sciences, including the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology, the PRISMA guidelines and tools, systematic search in databases, the management of information sources and publication.
This training cycle will be open to all interested parties, with no prior registration or limit on the number of participants, just access the links for each session.
Evidence synthesis: introductory ideas | February 14, 15h00-16h30
- Joanna Briggs Institute methodology;
- PRISMA tools and guidelines;
- Protocol register: Prospero and Open Science Framework;
- Using subject headings: MeSH, CINAHL, APA.
Systematic search | February 21, 15h00-16h30
- Advanced search and search tools in PubMed, EBSCO Host and Cochrane Library.
Information sources management |February 28, 15h00-16h30
- Ferramentas específicas para o processo de seleção de fontes: Rayyan;
- Gestão de referências bibliográficas: Zotero.
Where to publish? | March 6, 15h00-16h30
- Metrics associated with scientific journals;
- Selecting journals with impact in Scopus and Web of Science.
