UCP delegation visits partner universities during stay in South Korea
During their stay in South Korea to take part in the International Education & Emigration Fair, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) delegation took the opportunity to visit partner universities in that country on 24 and 25 April.
Led by Rita Bacelar, Director of the Rector's Office, the UCP delegation included members such as Catarina Mendes, Ana Farias Fonseca, Inês Saraiva Carrão and Mónica Coutinho, representing various areas of the institution.
On 24 April, the delegation visited the University of Seoul, INHA University and Korea University. And on 25 April it was their turn to get to know Sogang University, Dongguk University and Seoul National University in more detail.
Korea University and Seoul National University are part of the prestigious SKY group of universities (an acronym used to refer to the three most prestigious and competitive universities in South Korea) and UCP's presence at these institutions is also an opportunity to strengthen ties for future academic collaborations and exchange programmes.
In addition, they visited the University of Seoul and Dongguk University, frequent partners of UCP, especially with regard to student mobility with the Faculty of Human Sciences (FCH). INHA University and Sogang University are partners of UCP's Porto Regional Centre and Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, respectively.
These interactions aim not only to boost UCP's internationalisation, but also to provide valuable opportunities for both students and academics from both institutions. Visits to partner universities reflect UCP's ongoing commitment to broadening its global connections and fostering academic excellence through international collaboration.
