Transform4Europe is holding a series of training sessions on Open Science with the support of Católica Libraries

Within the framework of Task 5.6 – Open Science of Transform4Europe (T4EU), in which Católica Libraries are involved, a series of training sessions dedicated to Open Science will be promoted. The sessions will take place online and are aimed at faculty, researchers, staff, and students at all levels of study, with a particular focus on doctoral students. Participants may register for the entire series or for individual sessions.

The series begins with “Open Science: Principles, Practices, and Pathways to Transparency” [February 28, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.], and includes the following sessions:

  • Data management planning in line with FAIR principles [March 6, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.]
  • Open Science for survey data [March 10, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.]
  • Open Science in Health Research [March 18, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.]
  • Open Source and Free Software [March 27, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.]
  • Citizen Science [April 8, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.]
  • Open Science and data repositories [April 16, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.]
  • Introduction to preregistrations [April 24, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.]
  • Open Science in biodiversity [April 30, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.]

The Católica Libraries are responsible for the session “Open Science in Health Research”.
