RUMO Special Advocacy 2023: A personal and professional encounter
The Faculty of Law - Porto School welcomed 28 law firms and companies to the 13th edition of RUMO - Special Law Practice, an annual employability event that seeks to share major trends in the world of law.
Throughout November 14, at RUMO - Special Advocacy 2023, students and alumni had the opportunity to get to know the day-to-day running of the organisations and understand how they work; explore roles and career opportunities; identify differentiating opportunities (national and international); learn about existing internship programmes; and find out what professional profiles are sought after by the market.
"RUMO Especial Advocacia is an opportunity to bring our students and alumni closer to the current recruitment landscape in the legal field," emphasises Manuel Fontaine, director of the Faculty of Law - Porto School.
According to Cláudia Correia, Human Resources Director at TELLES, "human characteristics are fundamental." New visions, dynamism and team spirit are some of the values expected of recent graduates.

Throughout the event, the stands served as privileged places of communication for presenting the organisations, bringing with them a unique narrative to differentiate themselves. The highlight was the "Partner's Hour", which offered moments of proximity with the partners, giving those interested an in-depth insight into their careers.
It should be noted that the interviews with law firms and companies reinforced the quality of the practical teaching at the Faculty of Law -Porto School, highlighting it as a benchmark institution for building human values and competence in future law professionals, which reveals the highly satisfactory employability indicators.
