The results of the annual call for support for artistic creation and programming Criatório 2020, promoted by the Porto City Hall, were revealed.

The application for the School of Arts Exhibition Program is among the ten programming spaces supported by this municipal program, having the jury - constituted by Bruno Leitão (curator and founder of Hangar-Centro de Investigação Artística), Mariana Pestana (architect, researcher and curator of the 2020 edition of the Istanbul Design Biennial) and Pedro Levi Bismarck (architect, researcher and editor of Punkto Newspaper) - thus recognized the value of the intense expositive proposal that the School of Arts' Exhibition Room has been proposing, as well as of a structure for the development of artistic projects that find in the School of Arts a privileged space for experimentation, development and contemporary creation.

For the next programming cycle, the selected group of artists results from the way they, starting from different disciplinary territories, have represented decisive contributions to the rethinking of the moving image.

The new set of exhibitions will analyze the work of artists such as Vasco Araújo, Nuno Cera, Filipa César and Alice Micelli, involving the presentation of unpublished works as well as monographic editions.
