Prof. Luís Lóia appointed as a visiting Professor at McGill University

Prof. Luís Lóia has been appointed as a visiting Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts of McGill University (Canada) for the year of 2021.  

In the course of his appointment Prof. Luís Loia will take part in research projects in the field of political philosophy and promote further collaborations between the departments of Philosophy at Universidade Catolica Portuguesa and McGill University.

Luís has a PhD in Philosophy at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Oporto, M.A. in Political Science and International Relations, Postgraduate in Civics and B.A in Philosophy at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

As Assistant Professor of the Philosophy of the School of Human Sciences, he is also Coordinator of the BA Program in Philosophy and Editor of International Journal of Philosophy and Social Values.
