Paraíso Library hosts a presentation of Francisco Oliveira’s book

In April, the Paraíso Library, at the Porto Campus, is hosting the presentation of the book “Estudo crítico da Biblioteca Memorial de Leonardo Coimbra: acervo e presença da sua leitura no pensar e ação do filósofo, pedagogo e político”, by Dr. Francisco José de Jesus Oliveira.

This book offers the first comprehensive and critical overview of the Leonardo Coimbra Memorial Library. It traces the history of the donated collection, provides an exhaustive review of the holdings, and analyses the role and achievements of this prominent figure across a wide range of knowledge areas.

The session will take place on April 29 at 5:30 p.m., in the Manuel Ivo Cruz Room – Panoramic Floor of the Paraíso Library, and will feature the presence of Francisco Oliveira, the author, and Helena Leitão, who will present the book.
