Paraíso Library celebrates Children’s Day with a thematic bibliographic exhibition

To celebrate Children’s Day, the Paraíso Library is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the childhood universe in June 2026.

Through a carefully curated selection of books, this exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the world of children’s imagination, the stories, memories and symbols associated with childhood, as found in the work and bibliographic collection of Dalila Pereira da Costa.

The exhibition aims to highlight the importance of children as the centre of imagination, creativity and cultural development.  Amidst illustrated pages, timeless narratives and publishing artefacts of special significance, the public is invited to revisit the magic of childhood and reflect on the role of reading in personal growth and development.

Admission is free and open to the academic community and the general public, promoting access to culture, books and literary heritage.
