The Open Day for the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, aimed at secondary school students, attracts around 100 participants
The School of Nursing (Lisbon) at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa welcomed around 100 secondary school students to its Open Day, an event designed to showcase the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, the profession itself and the academic environment.
Throughout the day, participants were welcomed at a reception by the Management of the School of Nursing (Lisbon), the Bachelor’s Degree Programme Coordination, the President of the Students’ Association, the Magister of PauliTuna and representatives of the Academic Integration Council.
They had the opportunity to attend a presentation of the degree programme and have their questions answered regarding the academic pathway and career prospects. The programme also included practical workshops, offering an experience closer to the reality of nursing.
The initiative also featured moments of sharing and socialising, as well as a performance by PauliTuna – the Mixed Nursing Tuna, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere and a sense of closeness between prospective students and the academic community.
