Note of condolence for writer António Lobo Antunes

A great writer has no end and no death. António Lobo Antunes will always be with us, with every reading, with every provocation. Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Lisbon Consortium (FCH) deeply regret the passing of this great writer of the Portuguese language.

We remember him here, in a moment of joy and birth: at the first Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture, part of the Master's and Doctoral programmes in Cultural Studies, in the first year of the Lisbon Consortium (2011), organised in partnership with the Disquiet programme of the National Centre for Culture.

Until forever, because literature is eternal, like nature.
