Isabel Capeloa Gil visits the University of Trieste and gives a lecture

Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, visited the Università degli Studi di Trieste as part of efforts to strengthen academic cooperation between the two institutions.

The visit formed part of the university’s participation in the European alliance Transform4Europe (T4EU), with the aim of promoting internationalisation and the joint development of doctoral programmes.

During the meeting, various ongoing collaborative initiatives were discussed, including the strengthening of advanced training and the development of joint academic programmes. This cooperation stems from recent developments in the field of doctoral studies and the collaborative work between the two universities within the European context.

On the same day, Isabel Capeloa Gil gave a lecture at the Department of Humanities at the Italian university, entitled “Fear without end. Film and the administration of post-memory in Germany and Japan”.
