Francisco Proença Garcia appointed Chairman of the Military Higher Education Council

Francisco Proença Garcia, professor at the Institute of Political Studies of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, has just been appointed President of the Military Higher Education Council, in a joint order by the Ministers of National Defence, Internal Administration, and Education, Science, and Innovation.

Playing a decisive role in the reform of the Military Higher Education System, it is a collegiate body that ensures the design and coordination and monitors the implementation of policies that, in the field of Higher Education, fall under the remit of National Defence. In this context, Francisco Proença Garcia takes up the position as representative of the Minister of National Defence.
