FCH offers a donation to the Jesuit Refugee Service

The Faculty of Human Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa offers a donation to the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS Portugal) in the amount of 706 euros. The donation was the result of the FCH Solidária - O Outro em Nós initiative which invites us, every year, to think of those who are less fortunate and to contribute to a cause of solidarity.

The campaign that reverted to JRS had as its theme "Ask for a Wish" and resulted in the ornamentation of the Faculty's Christmas tree in the month of December 2019 with the bottles coloured with the wishes of the academic community.

The Jesuit Refugee Service is an international organisation of the Catholic Church, founded in 1980 under the responsibility of the Society of Jesus. JRS has as its mission "To Accompany, Serve and Defend" refugees, forcibly displaced persons and all migrants in particularly vulnerable situations.
