Faculty of Dental Medicine opens its doors to the younger generation

The Faculty of Dental Medicine (FMD) of the Universidade Católica in Viseu opened its doors to primary and secondary school students on 26 April.

Children and young people visited the laboratories and dental clinic, and had the opportunity to learn about the educational offer of the School.

The visitors were offered a programme that included laboratory activities in the fields of microbiology, molecular biology and genetics, to experience some of the resources and innovative technologies that the Faculty has to offer.

The Faculty also organised a workshop on oral health and hygiene for the younger participants. The visit also allowed contact with researchers, professors and students from the School, in a sharing of experiences, knowledge and interests.

The Faculty of Dental Medicine will once again open its doors for the ONLINE OPEN DAY Biomedicine on 26 May at 12:00.

This event is designed for secondary school students who wish to find out more about the Bachelor's Degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and for young graduates who wish to find out about the new Master's Degree in Applied Biomedicine (computing branch | management branch).
