The Economist just a click away

Católica Libraries provide the academic community with digital access to The Economist, one of the most internationally recognized publications in the fields of economic, political, technological, scientific and cultural analysis.

With this subscription, students, faculty, researchers and staff can keep up with international current affairs through news, analytical articles, special reports, charts, podcasts, newsletters and audio content.

The platform offers clear and in-depth coverage of global issues, with access to the weekly edition, the Daily Chart, featuring data and visualizations on international topics, and The Economist explains, a section providing concise explanations of both current and timeless subjects.

Also available are special reports, supplementary publications such as 1843 magazine and The World Ahead, more than 20 thematic newsletters and podcasts.

For Microsoft Teams users, it is also possible to integrate The Economist app, which allows users to browse headlines, explore The World in Brief and share articles directly within their digital workspace.

To activate access, users must register with their institutional email address (xxx@ucp.pt).
