Católica Welcomes Students from 110 Nationalities at International Meeting

On 10 October, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa will host the 11th International Student Meeting, an initiative dedicated to welcoming international students beginning their academic journey at Católica this year.

The 2025 edition is organised by the Católica Medical School, at the Sintra Campus, and features a varied programme including social and integration activities among participants from the University’s different campuses.

Highlights of the event include a first aid workshop, run by students, and a cultural visit to Sintra’s historic centre and the National Palace.

Launched in 2015, the International Student Meeting takes place annually, with one of Católica’s campuses taking responsibility each year. The event offers a unique opportunity to welcome new students and provide them with a first experience of Portuguese culture.

More than just an academic integration event, the meeting also celebrates the diversity of the Católica community, which currently brings together students from over 110 nationalities.
