Católica master's degrees reinforce top positions in international rankings

The master's programmes at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) have strengthened their presence in the prestigious Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking 2025, with several courses ranking among the best in the world in their respective areas.

The Master's in Cultural Studies - The Lisbon Consortium, from the Faculty of Human Sciences, maintained its excellent performance, ranking 2nd in the world in the Cultural Management/Creative Industries category.

The Master's in Communication, Marketing and Advertising also rose to 15th place worldwide in Marketing, confirming Católica's prestige in strategic communication training.

Also noteworthy is the Master's in Communication Sciences, also from the Faculty of Human Sciences, which came 18th in the Corporate Communication category.

CATÓLICA-LISBON's Master's in Management with a specialisation in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Impact has climbed an impressive 17 places to 13th in the world for Entrepreneurship. The same school's Master's in Economics is in 28th place, while the Master's in Finance is in 30th place in the area of Corporate Finance.

Consolidating its international reputation in International Business Law, Católica Global School of Law's Advanced LL.M. in International Business Law has risen to 24th place globally. As for the LL.M. in a Digital Economy, also from this academic unit, it came 14th globally in the area of Digital Law and Emerging Technologies, remaining among the best programmes in the world.

Other programmes in areas such as Finance, International Management, Digital Law and Corporate Communication also continue to feature in the global Top 50 or Top 100, demonstrating the international recognition of the pedagogical quality, curricular innovation and professional relevance of the training offered at the Catholic University.

Published annually by the global agency Eduniversal, based in Paris, this recently released international ranking evaluates more than 5,500 programmes from over 150 countries, spread across 55 areas of study. Its methodology is based on three main criteria - the reputation of the programme among employers and partner institutions, the starting salary of graduates and the level of satisfaction of graduates.
