Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics hosts new Financial Club focused on women

Católica Lisbon School Business and Economics will host the new initiative of the Inspiring Girls project which, in partnership with BlackRock, has created a free Financial Club in Portugal to promote financial literacy in young women between 15 and 19 years old.

The classes take place at CATÓLICA-LISBON from March 30 to May 11, between 6pm and 7.30pm.

"We are proud to host the Financial Club at Católica. We believe that financial literacy is a critical skill for young people and teenagers in our country and we are very pleased to support this initiative that empowers them to take control of their financial future, enhancing promising careers in this area," says Alexandra Barreto, Executive Director of the school.

The objectives of this action are to increase the number of female hires in the sector and in positions of responsibility, as well as to promote the role of women in the financial world and work towards equal rights for women and men.

The club will promote financial literacy, providing students with basic knowledge to help them plan their personal finances and familiarize themselves with this market, thanks to the experience of women in relevant roles in entities in the sector.

Registration can be made through this form and all information can be found here.
