Católica Learning Innovation Lab debates 1st cycle of pedagogical workshops for UCP professors
The team of the Católica Learning Innovation Lab (CLIL) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), held on 20 December, at the Porto Regional Centre, the Christmas Innovation Meeting, where they discussed the organisation of several pedagogical development initiatives for the whole academic community.
At this meeting, the topics suggested by the University professors for the 1st Cycle of Pedagogical Workshops for professors were analysed. The online workshops will take place between 23 January and 3 February 2023, and will allow to explore in more detail new teaching-learning methodologies applied to Higher Education.
This will be the starting point for CLIL's next action: the creation of pedagogical innovation communities of practice at the Universidade Católica. These communities will allow professors to test new teaching-learning approaches and apply them to their curricular units.
CLIL was created with the aim of identifying, experimenting and testing innovative pedagogical approaches, relying on the collaboration of professors, researchers and students from the University, as well as the support of a board of strategic partners from business and civil society.
The lab is part of the project "Skills 4 Post-COVID - Skills for the future in Higher Education", funded by Portugal 2020, under the OP CH - Human Capital Operational Programme, through the ESF - European Social Fund.
