Católica hosts the 5th edition of “Elevate Leadership” by Rotary Portugal – District 1970
The Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto Campus, hosted the 5th edition of “Elevate Leadership,” an initiative by Rotary Portugal – District 1970, which brought together 32 young participants from nine nationalities in an international leadership development program, under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic.
Throughout the program, participants engaged with three core dimensions - self-leadership, leadership skills, and management tools -, culminating in the presentation of final projects that reflect not only knowledge, but also maturity, vision, and execution capability. These projects addressed topics such as innovation, leadership, and social impact, reinforcing the importance of preparing leaders capable of operating in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
Grounded in the principles of Rotary International (leadership, integrity, diversity, and service), “Elevate Leadership” stands out for its approach that goes beyond technical competencies, promoting a more conscious, ethical, and purpose-driven form of leadership. The program is developed in partnership with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
In a world marked by transformation, uncertainty, and new demands, the 5th edition of Elevate Leadership confirms a clear trend: the future will be led by those who combine skills with values. This program is shaping precisely these leaders - ethical individuals with a strong sense of service.
