Católica and T4EU discuss Knowledge Entrepreneurship
Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), in collaboration with the University of Saarland (USAAR), as part of the Transform4Europe Alliance, held the "Become a Knowledge Entrepreneur" workshop on March 14 and 15.
Co-organised by Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (CLSBE), the event was attended by undergraduate, master's, doctoral and post-doctoral students.
Over two days, participants engaged in dynamic discussions, case studies and practical exercises, based on methodologies developed by USAAR experts. They collaboratively explored avenues for the university to address community-driven challenges. They developed actionable plans and prototypes aimed at positively impacting social, digital, and environmental realities.
"The workshop emphasized the importance of connecting academia with real-world challenges," said CLSBE Dean Filipe Santos. For Cristina Sá Carvalho, a post-doctoral researcher in Integral Human Development, "it's inspiring to see the academic actively engaging with real-world issues and empowering students to drive change".
