Call for applications for the 22nd European Language Seal Competition

The National Erasmus+ EF Agency, of which Universidade Católica Portuguesa is a partner entity, launches the 22nd edition of the European Language Seal Competition. The contest, whose applications are open until 15 November, seeks to certify innovative, effective and transferable projects that promote the teaching of foreign languages.

Applications are open to all schools, colleges, universities, training centres, companies and other institutions working in foreign language initiatives, with no restriction on the target language.

The European Language Seal initiative, promoted by the European Commission and the E+ EF National Agency, encourages foreign language learning as a key competence for the labour market and for the creation of European citizenship.

The competition consists in the award of a Quality Seal which aims to distinguish innovative projects, which mobilise partners and resources around foreign language learning, and which use creative approaches in fulfilling this objective in the light of their respective contexts.
