BRC receives a group of students and technicians from different areas of health and education

The Braga Regional Centre of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa received a group of students and technicians from different areas of health and education, from countries such as Estonia, Poland, Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal, to reflect on drug prevention among young people through non-formal education.

This session is part of an Erasmus+ project, coordinated by the Centro Social de Braga / Projecto Homem, which, during 2021, aims to promote reflection on the challenges and good practices in the area of addictions. Between September 25 and 30, and after the development of the first programme of this Erasmus, called Not Anymore, the Addic-(ac)tion programme is in progress, bringing together technicians and students from these countries. All the participating organisations make presentations on the local reality in terms of drug use/addiction among young people.

The moment was led by Professor Paulo Dias and Dr. Diana Monteiro, collaborator of CeS Braga Projecto Homem, and allowed a review of the state of the art in the area of prevention and a set of indications for the prevention of addictions.
