Braga Regional Centre hosts Summer School of the European Project TESTEd

From 24 to 28 October, the Braga Regional Centre of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) hosted and coordinated the Summer School of the TESTEd Project - Towards a European Syllabus in Teacher Education - Facing future challenges together, funded by the European Commission, under the Erasmus + Teacher Academies Programme.

The project included teams from the Ruhr University Bochum/Akademie RUB, Germany, University of Oulu, Finland, University College Cork, Ireland, Universidad de Sevilla, Spain and UCP, with the aim of assuming an international perspective on transversal themes socially relevant for teacher training, both in initial and continuing education.

In this sense, training and research opportunities were developed among the consortium partners, handbooks and materials for the dissemination of good practices on education for sustainable development, democratisation and active citizenship, gender sensitivity in teaching and learning, diversity and multilingualism and digitalisation.
