International Relations Office

With the goal of enabling and coordinating the international mobility activities engaged in by its various Academic Units and Centres, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa International Relations Service was launched in 1991.

Its founding objectives are:

• Dynamically boosting the internationalisation of the University by fostering activities targeted at all Academic Units;

• Managing the relationships between UCP and international universities and university federations;

• Maintaining contacts with institutions of international scope within the framework of sounding out, gathering, and processing information on projects in the educational, cultural and scientific fields;

• Promoting, among its Academic Units and Centres, the diverse educational, cultural and scientific projects of an international scope of relevance to them;

• Fostering and coordinating the exchange of staff and students with international universities, especially under the auspices of the Erasmus Programme.
