Mobility programmes
Universidade Católica Portuguesa students have access to various International Mobility Programmes.
Erasmus+
The Erasmus + Programme is a European Union Programme for Education, Training, Youth, and Sport in effect from 2021 to 2027.
The Erasmus Programme enables the mobility of students wishing to undertake a period of studies at another institution with which there is an Erasmus + Bilateral Agreement. The mobility may be of a one-semester duration up to a maximum twelve-month period.
Erasmus+ also provides higher education students with the opportunity to undertake a curricular, extracurricular, or recent-graduate internship, from two to twelve months, within a working context (SMP mobility). This programme includes specific grants for internships.

Free Mover
Mobility without funding to universities with which UCP has no partnership agreements. Not all UCP Schools allow this type of mobility for their students.
Free mover students are responsible for contacting the university where they wish to undertake their mobility period, handling the entire process without the involvement of the UCP School.
In this type of mobility, students pay tuition fees at the host university. Regarding the payment of tuition fees at the home university (UCP), the decision belongs to each School.
Academic recognition of the modules taken under this scheme is subject to prior approval by the School of a study plan.
