Grupo Luz Saúde

Grupo Luz Saúde is one of the largest private healthcare groups in Portugal and has a fruitful collaboration with Universidade Católica Portuguesa in nurse training. Comprising of 28 hospitals, 1 rehabilitation and continuous care centre and 2 senior residences, the group has the dimension, variety and excellence to be clinical partner of the University's Católica Medical School. Furthermore, Hospital da Luz Lisboa meets the legal requirements to become a University Hospital. Besides having experience in pre- and post-graduate teaching, it has a clinical staff with the qualifications and availability to integrate a Faculty, and participates in various clinical trials and already presents a significant scientific production.

Through GLSMED - Learning Health, the Group promotes medical training in one of the largest simulation centres in Europe. In partnership with UCP, the Católica Health Education Postgraduate School was created, which aims at the requalification of health professionals, increasing the synergies of the existing partnership and expanding them to the postgraduate universe.
