X Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture

The 10th edition of the Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture, dedicated to the theme "Ecoculture", begins on July 6 and continues until July 11. The Summer School will be in online format.

Every year, the Lisbon Summer School promotes the articulation between the artistic world and the academic world, bringing together professors, curators, artists and young researchers for a week of lectures, presentations, debates and artistic activities that aim to provoke reflection on contemporary culture and art.

This year the event has more than 100 participants from 30 nationalities from all continents and will take place entirely online (via Zoom).

The Lisbon Summer School for the Study of Culture, which celebrates this year its 10th anniversary, is an annual initiative of the Lisbon Consortium, an international Master's and PhD programme in Culture Studies of the Faculdade de Ciências Humanas of Universidade Católica, considered the fourth best Master's degree in the world in the area of Cultural Management and Management of Creative Industries by Eduniversal's ranking.
