Workshop | The Role of Regulation in the European Digital Music Ecosystem

The Fair MusE Project will host a workshop on 11 December at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. This policy workshop will explore the impact of EU law and policies on the present and future of music creators' rights.

Researchers from the Horizon Europe-funded Fair MusE project will showcase findings from their ongoing in-depth investigations focusing on streaming services and social media platforms. This workshop aims to facilitate a dialogue among policy, legal, and industry experts on the complexities and challenges surrounding the implementation of EU laws targeting algorithmic and data-driven music exploitation.
