The Transform4Europe Alliance organizes the Workshop: "Conflict Management: Knowledge, Attitudes, Behaviour" designed for academic staff holding top and middle managerial position at the universities, such as deans, vice-deans, heads of doctoral schools, heads of institutes, degree programme directors.
The workshop, integrated in the Transformational Leadership Programme, will be held online on 4 March, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. via MS Tems, with lecturer Loreta Bukšnytė-Marmienė, from Vytautas Magnus University.
During the training, participants will explore the concept of conflict and its key characteristics, as well as examine different types of conflict. We will analyze the psychological mechanisms that often contribute to conflict escalation and discuss practical approaches to effective conflict management.
About the Lecturer
Loreta Bukšnytė-Marmienė is a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Vytautas Magnus University. She is a mediator and a member of the Lithuanian Chamber of Mediators. Since 2016, she has taught courses on conflict and conflict management at the master’s level and conducted training on this topic for employees in various fields.
