The Voice of the Portuguese: Annual Conference of the Ethics Forum

Católica Porto Business School is organising the Annual Conference of the Ethics Forum on 12 November at 5pm. This year's debate centres on the global and national results of Ethics at Work.

This is an international study carried out by the Institute of Business Ethics (IBE), which in 2018, through a partnership with the Ethics Forum of Católica Porto Business School, included Portugal for the first time.

In October 2024, the IBE launched the results of its seventh triennial survey, covering around 12,000 workers from 16 countries on six continents. The study aimed to understand attitudes and perceptions about ethics in the workplace, identify trends by comparing with data from previous surveys, and compare the view of business ethics among workers in different countries. The survey also covered topics such as willingness to report misconduct, the frequency of retaliation and the pressure to compromise ethical values in order to achieve results.
