Universidade Católica Editora Debate | Lisbon Book Fair

It is currently consensual that the perspective of "ageing well" integrates healthy ageing, active ageing and productive ageing. But, in practice, how can we simultaneously develop these three dimensions in the preparation and experience of our own old age and how should we value them socially and politically?

The book "Envelhecimento: Dimensões e Contextos" presents 31 different views on ageing that take us through art, psychology, sociology, medicine... It is a multidimensional and multidisciplinary approach that seeks a comprehensive view, proposing models and practices oriented towards ageing well, with health, agility and usefulness.

"Envelhecimento: Dimensões e Contextos" thus aims to inspire readers, of any age, in the preparation and experience of their own old age.

Based on this book, Universidade Católica Editora organises the second debate of its cultural programme for the 2021 Lisbon Book Fair. The debate will take place on September 4, at 6.30 p.m., in the Poente Auditorium.
