Tomorrow Summit 2024: Conference " DEFYING THE STATUS QUO: Female Leadership"

The Tomorrow Summit is one of the key milestones for Porto’s academic community in discussing innovation, technology, science, education, and sustainability. Organised by the Porto Academic Federation (FAP), this event has become an essential platform for sharing ideas and promoting discussions that inspire and drive the future forward.

In its 2024 edition, the Tomorrow Summit will take place from 4 to 8 November across several higher education institutions in Porto, with the opening day hosted at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The event will also feature the conference “DEFYING THE STATUS QUO: Female Leadership,” with guest speakers including Francisca Oliveira (Board Member, Banco de Portugal), Ana Raquel Oliveira (CFO, Fenix Capital Partners - Forbes 30 under 30), and Isabel Jonet (President of the Portuguese Federation of Food Banks Against Hunger).

This year, the event focuses on reflection and action around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting education as the foundation for economic and social progress in both Portugal and Europe. Through interactive panels, lectures, and networking sessions, FAP aims to foster new perspectives and encourage academia and society’s commitment to a more sustainable and competitive future.
